St. Eugene is a golf course and casino located in British Columbia on a former Indian boarding school converted to a locally owned casino.
St. Eugene offers 125 beautifully appointed guest rooms and suites, each with spectacular views of the Stone Forest, St. Eugene's championship golf course, gardens and grounds, or Mount Purcell or the Rocky Mountains, including the magnificent Fisher Peak.
The Lodge rooms are bathed in sunlight and have views of the garden or courtyard, just a short walk from the golf course greens. Relax after a day exploring the area or just sit by the pool. Each of St. Eugene's 25 luxurious Mission Rooms in the restored historic Mission Building is unique. Each room has been designed to preserve the unique features of the 100-year-old building, including original brickwork, vaulted ceilings and hand-hewn timber.
Located within the St. Eugene resort and the traditional territory of the Ktunaxa Nation, St. Eugene's RV Park offers guests the best of both worlds. Take advantage of resort amenities - from pools to restaurants, casino and golf course - while listening to the sounds of the St. Mary's River just off base. Surrounded by the Purcell and Rocky Mountains, and 10 minutes from Cranbrook, St. Eugene is the perfect location to explore the area or just relax.
St. Eugene welcomes friends from all over the world to the resort and offers pet-only rooms for your stay. We ask that guests abide by our policies and join us for the dog days of golf on the golf course during the summer months!
The Rockies Casino is open daily, Sunday through Thursday 11am to 11pm and Friday and Saturday 11am to 1am. A bold, nature-based design concept pays homage to Ktunaxa First Nations' connection to the earth and highlights the native flora and fauna of the mountains and foothills in the backyard. The new full-service restaurant called Kiʔsuʔk k̓ikiⱡ (pronounced like key-seouk-keekit/th) is a unique dining experience. The new restaurant offers small plates and appetizers, sandwiches and salads, entrees and a full bar including craft cocktails.
Rockies Casino operates from the St. Eugene Golf Resort and Casino. The resort was once a boarding school and is now owned and operated by Ktunaxa First Nation. This full-service resort features a world-class golf course and RV park next to the Rocky Mountain Casino.
Stanley Thompson, who designed the course, is a famous Canadian golf course designer. He designed the original 18-hole course along the winding Bow River in 1928. In 1989, 9 holes were added to form a 27-hole championship course layout that can be enjoyed by both novice and experienced players. Another feature here is the golf casino, where people will gamble.
